Dupa Finala Naţionala de la TVR melodia “The Balkan Girls” cantata de Elena Gheorghe si compusa de Laurentiu Duta va reprezenta Romania la Eurovision 2009, care va avea loc la Moscova, in luna mai.

Desi publicului i-a placut mai mult piesa “Dear Mama” a fetelor de la Blaxy Girls, juriul a decis in final pentru piesa Elenei Gheorghe. In alti ani nu am fost de acord cu juriul, ca de altfel nici publicul, dar anul acesta consider cea mai buna alegere facuta pentru a ne reprezenta.

Cautand pe internet versurile melodiei, intrucat nu prea am inteles ce canta Elena in engleza trei sferturi din melodie, am gasit si traducerea in romana a versurilor in engleza. Multumiri surselor…
